And depending on your ISP and the type of service you have, you may only have 10-20mb of available space. Better ISPs provide about 100mb. Or more.
Of course, all this assumes the person 1) knows they even have available space, and 2) has a clue on how to use it ... 1) costs 9.95€ for 50MB and 5GB transfer/month at my ISP
2) that's the lesser problem of the two

2) that's the lesser problem of the two 1) Just to make sure there's no unfortunate misunderstanding, I wasn't implying that you were clueless. The fact that you went to the effort to find a hosting service ruled that out.
2) 10 euros just for the space, or for the entire account? Just curious. If it's for the account, that's cheap.

No, unfortunately it's to add that space (together with some other stuff, like 25 email adresses no one needs) to my existing account.

Re: So i made a new world map
You may want to look at ReadyHosting.com if you want a cheaper hosting alternative with much more available space (~500mb). (They host the BL23c.com domain I'm borrowing.) If you decide you want to sign up with them, please let me know in advance so that my BF can get the referral benefit that I think they offer to existing clients.

Re: So i made a new world map
Download winrar trial. http://www.rarlab.com/
Install program. Right click the file. Select "add to archive..". Select "Split to volumes, bytes." Type in the max size your e-mail service allows for transfer. Send archive in pieces to Illwinter (might not have winrar though), Gandalf or Arryn.

An excellent suggestion! And, FYI, I have WinRAR, so I can read what he sends, if he decides to do this. I also have a util to process Mac archives.

Have winrar, didn't want to do it that way.
