Re: MP Game - PBEM: Twilight of Magicka
Sounds interesting. Be sure to let us know how it turns out after it's over!

You're serious? This isn't just some joke proposal that's being kicked around as a belated April Fools thing? Well, best of luck to you, then.

To be frank, I find it just as interesting, if not more so, than your standard 17-person merry-go-round of doom on Orania/World map. Personally, I wish these three would collaborate to AAR it as that'd be pretty cool. But I'm not about asking others to do work I haven't done myself.
Still, reports on the game, however brief, would be cool to see.

It will be a pleasure to finally get the chance to exterminate nasty, tricksy, evil, hobbitses, er, Hoburgses.
As I understand it, whichever pretender we pick, we can't add any points to its magic paths - points have to go into castle, scales, and dominion, right?
Very Very difficult magic research, 20% magic sites. Renaming on, I hope, and did we establish the independent strength and whether it's a poor world?

I'll see what I can do about keeping notes on my side of the game as I go along, but not posting them until enough delay has gone into the game that I'm not giving up vital information.
Expect something along the lines of: "On the 2nd month of the great war, the divine Dude was taken from us by knights. We mourn Dude greatly, and the next 7 months pass quietly as we pray for his return."

I'm not sure how the other players feel, but I would be happy to work on an AAR. Infact, if there is enough interest, I would be willing to host a second PBEM with similar settings. That way there could be a game for both AAR writers and those that don't have time.
EDIT: If it turns into two games I was thinking of one with rich world and one with poor world. Independents 3 sounds about right to me, I like renaming, and spending points anywhere but the pretender magic screen is fine.

I never said it wasn't interesting, I just thought it so utterly bizarre that it sounded like some sort of joke. Of course, the bizarre is always interesting, to some extent.
