Any damage will trigger it if the unit also succeeds at a morale check.

Makes the weapons magical and adds 8 AP fire damage to each attack.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think it affects a single square and the minus number is the bonus to the morale check that units have against it.
The unit becomes a soulless after they die. If they were a mage, then they are now a soulless mage with identical magic skills to what they had previously, and all fatigue is removed.

The number is the area of effect of the fear. Every 5 levels, the morale check is made one harder. Every enemy unit that falls within the area of effect must make a morale check at the appropriate difficulty.
The unit that killed the blessed unit will become cursed if it fails a MR check.
