I actually played out to the end of the game once myself, and posted here that I thought the ending was itself something of a disappointment.

Do you remember the endgame animation to Civ2? Where your guys are setting up on Alpha Centauri, and it plays Also Sprach Zarathustra?

But I think Duke Nukem 3D had the best ending ever. It was strictly audio, but as the credits rolled, you heard Duke coming home to his GF, and "getting lucky"

Well, anyways, I'm sure Aaron is busy with other stuff, and getting the cool stuff like Drones working is more important than end-game
