Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
And so we've had our first casualty...Man...
Anyone care to talk about it? Who was the victor?

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Dominion kill, I believe, hastened by military defeats and a province that really, REALLY should be #nostart - one land neighbor, and that one only has two land neighbors itself. Man got a shafted start position.

Caelum has conquered Man's capital (a turn ago I think), not sure if it was dominion kill afterwards or not, probably didn't matter anyway.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
The message indicated a Dominionkill.
That was a very early rush.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
So, are we going to upgrade to 2.14 anytime soon?

The sooner the better, before anyone really gets hosed by having to shift his clams and fetishes...
However, stopping and restarting a game currently appears to result in the gameslot being taken away due to the rush. *sigh*
Hey, Mister Hansen. Buy another computer or three.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
What is the advantage of upgrading exactly?
Are there any serious game play issues that get modified?
Seems like 2.12 is fine for our purposes, unless it puts someone at a significant disadvantage.
Rabe, who hasn't been paying close attention to the new release.

Restarting shouldn't take away a slot, unless you're hit by a bug. And I wish Several unexpected expenses have forced me to delay such plans to winter sometime :-/
I would like an upgrade.. mostly so Jabber notification could go unbroken again. On the other hand, I'm soon dead in all probability

Me! My first MP-Kill! Sorry, I lost the thread, which was why I didnt respond - now I am using this favourite-thread feature to stay informed...
It was indeed a dominion kill, although I conquered Man's captial castle a turn before.
Nevertheless, the kill was simply due to two things. First I got a little help from a friend and second Man's starting position was very unfortunate, but it also caused quite some casualties to my army, since at the same time of my main assault, Man easily recaptured the one adjacent province (which I had left undefended), thus causing a swift Death to all my precious routing Elephants...
