Re: MP Game (open) - Cradle/De-celerating Schedule
Oh - when you say we'll be playing with Zen's modifications, you mean the Cradle of Zen Version of the map, and not Zen's balance mod, is this correct? (I'd been more used to seeing his map Version simply referred to as Cradle of Zen.)

Yes, the Cradle Version of the map, though in retrospect it would have been interesting to play with the balance mod.

Haven't started yet. One thing I like about the balance mod is that is doesn't unbalance the nation or the gameplay, but it definately makes a wider range of pretender choices viable.
(And we might get more players flocking in, if it's with the mod. )

Ah, you tempt me...
Other players: do you object if we use Zen's Conceptual Balance Pretender mod for this game?
If not, everyone should re-create & re-load Pretenders for their nations using the mod, to take advantage of Zen's tweaks.

Re: MP Game (open) - Cradle/De-celerating Schedule
You'll have to delete the existing pretenders. It won't copy over successfully IIRC.

That's only with mosehansen, because he has code to restore the original pretender. Dominions itself allows existing pretenders to be overwritten as many times as desired.
The thing which sometimes has to be deleted is people's directory, if a game is restarted with the same name or they won't see their actual position on the map, but rather their capital on the old map.

Re: MP Game (open) - Cradle/De-celerating Schedule
Someone joined as C'tis, which is fine--but who is it?
I'll start the game once they identify themselves; I don't want to risk an anonymous no-show.

Re: MP Game (open) - Cradle/De-celerating Schedule
Can anyone who has not yet done so download Zen's mod and use it to create/re-create their Pretender and then re-upload it to the server, please?

I'm in with R'lyeh, mod 1.72.
