I'm okay with blood slaves so long as they are with my commanders. I think they're safer when they can run around unmolested. If I stick them in my pool, they start disappearing. I suspect one of my eunuch guards is responsible but haven't been able to catch anyone "with their pants down".
I am using patch 2.14. I recently built an Alchemist's Stone and Last turn used it to convert 20+ fire gems to gold. Sounds like that set off the cheat detection. I had better apologize to myself. I sent myself a nasty email, and am now delaying my turn in protest. I had no right to speak to myself that way.
I'm glad I found out about that now. I just started a multiplayer game with a friend of mine (us against the big bad AI) and don't want to look like I'm cheating, evil guy that I am.
