Haha... I do it with max 7. If you have a working version of it, just follow the tutorials and you're on the right path. There are some minor differences with the way I do it though. I use a nice plugin which can make the UVW maps much more detailed.
Nothing to it, the difficult part is how you fill in the part you made the map of.

Okay AT, I've send you a mail with some directions. Like I said in the mail there many, many more things I would like to share with you, but try this first and mail me when you have problems. I'm curious how far you make it and which problem emerges first. Hehe...
