I played a Heart of Winter Caelum game multiplayer one time. The other players did ask me in person why my dominion's cold kept washig over their provinces (I think I started with a dominion of 7).

Don't forget that your original Dominion strength is the one your temples use throughout the game.

For the full effect of HoW, try taking a high (7-10) starting Dom.
