Re: And another new turn
Maybe you can get someone (who's not playing, but who's knowledgeable in Dominions arcana) to look at the turn?

Re: And another new turn
I can say what my orders were. Maybe it will help.
1. I ordered my forces to "storm the castle". I had been in the province a turn already. I didn't receive a battle playback, but did receive a message of the form "the undefended castle has been taken".
2. I'm also pretty sure that I sent a force against Chris's main force in the adjacent province. I say "pretty sure" because this is what I meant to do. However, my force didn't move, so I just assumed the move order was changed somehow.
If Chris was sending a force my way as well, is it possible the two forces stopped each other from moving? Could the fact that Chris's force was inside his castle to start with have anything to do with it?
Note: edited for clarity (hopefully)

Re: And another new turn
Oh, huh.. you sent some guys against my main force that turn? Interesting.. yeah, maybe they bounced somehow. That's weird.

Re: And another new turn
Yeah, it's wierd. I thought that if your force was bigger, my guys would have been pushed back and we would have had the battle in my province.
I searched for something called the "castle-move" bug that I remembered hearing about. The situation described is somewhat similar to our situation, although not exact.

Re: And another new turn
The "Move and Storm" command can be accessed by <Shift> 'S'. Most people don't know about it.

Re: And another new turn
I have a feeling that "Move and Storm" is a joke, eh? Or mabye not, hmmm.
But I was there for a turn before storming, so that's not a bug.
The problem seems to be that we "bounced" off of each other and there wasn't a battle. I've never seen this before.
