Re: Never seen before - Bug-?
Something like this happened to me once in some previous Version as well. Not sure what corrected just remember that something I did fixed it and I kept playing without thinking about it.
Was something obscure... might have actually been just going through it from other side or something.
Oh well... I don't really remember so I am just guessing wildly about what I think I did.

Re: Never seen before - Bug-?
This may sound strange, but are you using the "warp" command or the "move" command? I've had a problem on occasion where I use the "move" command to send a ship to another system, and for one reason or another the pathfinding code can't figure out it can use a particular warp point. Using the "warp" command should ALWAYS work...
Of course, if you can't see the other system, you can't be using the "move" command, but it's the best answer I can come up with right now...

Re: Never seen before - Bug-?
just clicked on ship, then clicked on the move togo thru wormhole button at top, then pointed and clicked the wormhole. I've been busy so I haven't gone back into the game again, darn holidays, I do plan on looking at it again.

Re: Never seen before - Bug-?
Well, sounds like you're using the right command (i.e., "warp"). Very odd that it wouldn't work.

Ummm, yes you can. But you have to give a chain of commands to do it. Just tell it to warp into the system first, then give it the command to move somewhere in that system. I use this alot in simmove games. Tell it to warp into that system, then to move to the center of the system. That way, I waste less movement points waiting for orders.

How do you tell the ship to move to the center of a system that's marked "unexplored"?

Re: Never seen before - Bug-?
First (and this is the important part) you have to give it the order to warp into the unexplored system. Then, you hit the "move to" button, and click on the center of the unexplored system. The ship will follow it's directions in the order it was given them:
1. Warp into sector xyz
2. Move to 6,6 (or whatever) of sector xyz.
That way, you don't waste 3 movement points at the end of your move, just sitting there at the edge of the map because the ship has no more orders.
