Re: Gamers Front problem
Considering that you're in Argentina, with shipping time and customs it's not excessively long wait yet.

Re: Gamers Front problem
wow, actually even if he is living in Argentina, he should have his copy by now for sure. I think that something has surely happened to your shipment. I might be wrong of course.

We usually do not consider shipments as lost until there has been a significant delay (4 weeks or more), especially during the holiday season. At this point we would assume there has been a delay in your local customs office. Is there any way for you to contact them to see if the package is there?
|
I donīt think that if I pay for a game thatīs suppose to be sent at destination (my home) I have to retrieve it form customs.

Delays by customs are not uncommon and are completely out of our control. There is not a tracking service available on the shipment nor a guaranteed delivery date, so there is no way for us to know with certainty. We can only ask for your patience as our experience has been that such delays only rarely turn into lost shipments.

Re: Gamers Front problem
Well, they can't really affect the shipment. It looks like you've ran into some bad luck. Hopefully it'll work out.

I agree... but that's not the fault of shrapnel games. If your governments custom policies are preventing delivery of the item then that's where you'd complain.

Re: Gamers Front problem
They said they "assume" it was a problem in customs and they ask me to solve the issue.
They donīt even care to ask the USPS air mail to know if it was delivered or not. I donīt even have the sent number or any data of the delivery to start with.
They donīt have a "tracking service". They would wait to see if 4 weeks have passed and then if the package didnīt arrive they will send it again ( a new copy of course ).
That leave me with maybe 4 more weeks of waiting. (if didnīt arrive the first time why would it arrive this one????).
And the only way to them to know ( apparently ) is when I say "I got the package".
If I knew this one from before Iīm not sure I would buy it despite I like this game a lot.

Re: Gamers Front problem
I'd try to call your local post office and ask what are typical custom clearance times now. Here, in Canada, they can usually tell if it's a week, two or five. At least it'll give you some idea what to expect.
