Afraid there isnt. There was a third party tool for Dom2 written in C that did that but I doubt it would work with Dom3
You might make a game named for the god and just hit END until he shows up. Then either write it down or just keep the game around for reference.

Yeah, I've been naming them for their paths, but the worship of D6 ENWF4 Chaos isn't quite as compelling as following King Mob.

that would also give your opponents clues of what they are up against.
Strongly agree that a 'view god' option is urgently needed. or better still, a 'edit god' option in the 'Game tools' menu.

While we are at it I wouldnt mind if I could save a god from my solo games after I decide its a good build.

Yeah, that would be good. I typically start some test SP games before I start a PBEM game, but in the current setting, this means using the counter-intuitive "create pretender god" interface. Some "export pretender god" feature from in-game would be a godsend (pun intended).
