Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
#2 seems a little dull and I understand what you mean by #1 sending out light. Still any improvement to what we have now would be a great benefit for the entire community. It will be interesting to see how the final product turns out.

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
I like the idea of planet glow, but I think it should be subtle.

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
It looks ok, but you should have used a more multi-cultural system to display the effects...

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
I don't want to figure out all the glow colors for the various atmospheres before I get the glow radii by size set...

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
I like glow 2 can't wait till you get the colors right, makes the planets look amazing.

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
Hmm, why isn't the ringed planet glowing? And why are those planets in the upper right so bright and shiny?

I'm with SJ. The more subtle version is pleasing to the eye. Well, my eye, anyway. Eyes, even.

Re: (FQM) Planet Star Glows Poll
That type of O2 gas giant is pretty bright and shiny in its own right. The glow just exacerbates it.
