Re: Undead SC Fatigue
I can't bring myself to put two shields on a thug if they trample or have some other attack. It's just too silly.

Re: Undead SC Fatigue
I do not like thugs that trample as they tend to get exhausted quicker. Aoe weapon>trample.

Re: Undead SC Fatigue
I believe that armour still reduces the battlefield movement of 0 encumbrance units. A bane or whatever with the monolith armour will take an age to close with enemies.

Re: Undead SC Fatigue
Flying uses a lot of energy also. The flying plus trample could mean exhaustion in a long fight, despite reinvigoration items.

That's what girdle of might, amulet of resilence and boots of the messenger are for.

Insufficient. Playing around in SP with Wishing, I conjured up a Dagon to go trampling over massive hordes. I gave him Boots of Calius the Druid, and an Amulet of Resilience. Oh, and an Aegis. (Hurrah for SP, eh?) I might even have had him wearing Rainbow Armor, I don't recall.
Even with 17 reinvigoration, his fatigue eventually passed 100 and he got killed.
Trample works great against small and medium armies, but against large armies, it will get you killed.

Why? Have you something against trying to keep your trampler alive?

I would have thought it was obvious why. I'll give you a hint; it has nothing to do with gameplay.
