Re: Victorious Nation Data
I still think it's hilarious that neither Helheim nor Niefelheim has won a game yet, and everyone's seem to forgotten how much of a powerhouse Caelum was in Dom2.

Re: Victorious Nation Data
Guess it has a lot to do with people dogpiling them (with good reason) easier when they get stronger than when some other nations get to the same level of being stronger than the rest. But Caelum really makes me wonder. It wasn't *that* special in Dominions 1 from what I remember. What happened to it in Dominions 2, exactly?

Re: Victorious Nation Data
Having not played Dominions 1 I couldn't tell you. I've been mashed by Caelum MANY times in both Dom2 and Dom3, however. Fast air queens and thunder-blasting mage armies are pretty hard to deal with. Now they have mammoths as well.

Re: Victorious Nation Data
Well, they had mammoths in Dominions 1, too. Thing is, Pythium, Vanheim and the sorts could stop Caelum's air force in its tracks due to their usage of air as well innately. People used rainbow mages because blesses weren't anything special (because there was one generic bless, and it was the same always) too, so everyone could theoretically cast practically everything with some effort. And back then, since everyone could have their fill of Elemental Queens and Kings (they were infinite), it didn't matter who got "first dibs" on them. I guess countering certain types of attacks, as a result, was easier back in Dominions 1. Fact that rainbow mages were made less viable thanks to the blessing system, too, had a rather major effect - everyone can't counter everything anymore, since they can't summon everything.

Keep an eye out, I have a feeling we are going to see two Helheim entries pretty soon.

Re: Victorious Nation Data
I'm going to have to go through the forums and check those two, they have very similar names to some that are already recorded. The main post needs some improvement anyway.

Probably 3 in the next couple of months.
Btw I am pretty sure Dr Praetorious has won a MP as Niefelheim.
