If you're trying to figure the basics out make sure you check out Velusion's most excellent LA Ermor writeup (which includes SG info): http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...b=5&o=&fpart=1
I don't have my manual with me at the moment but there is a spell index before the spell descriptions which lists what page each spell is on. There are a couple omissions though, (primarily stuff that was added since the game was release in free expansions) it's possible SG isn't listed in the manual. More likely you're missing it because it's under the "national spells" section rather than the "death".
