Do this, re-install the ferengi and cardassian.

IN ALL of the Star Trek races, delete the following AI file

RaceName_AI_Fleet

Then try to set up a game. Your problem has only occured once before, and that was because the AI_Fleet Txt file included with Version 1.70 was bad. If this occures again, post your save game file, and I'll look at it.

There should be no reason that the Cardassian are using the Ferengi files. Or vis versa. The files are fine, and I have downloaded them and installed them, and set up a game. The game worked fine for me with no swapping of files.

Try what I recommended and let me know how that worked.

Don't know if this will help but.....

I once got a similar problem. I loaded the .emp files once I started a game and any old shipset would show up, not the one specified in the .emp file. This was the problem, I was using the TDM-Modpack, but all the races I had installed were in the basic se4 pictures/races folder not the TDM-Modpack pictures/races folder so the Path.txt pointed toward the TDM files for it to look and se4 could not find the pictures because they did not exist.

Make sure your Path.txt points towards where the .emp file is looking if you are using some kind of modd.(ie if using TDM-Modpack then the path must state 'TDM-Modpack' instead of 'None' in the Path.txt, just open with notepad and edit manually)

I found the problem, thanks Luke for the help. I will be uploading the latest Versions of the Ferengi and Cardassian within moments. I will then update my site, and my signature. I will also post the links to download them here in this thread.

Sorry about the problem Luke, it was a bear to track down, and when I did it was a simple spelling error in the General Text files.

The new Versions have corrected Txt, and new EMP files.

Hi Atrocities,
I download and install your new files and everything is O.K. !!! Thank you very much !!!
But, maybe , ehmm, I found another minor problem ???
For Species 8472, Rogue Fleet and Borg I found, that when I create new ship design and open "Design Name" button, window show no names which are include in "race name".txt file (window is empty).
I placed "race name".file for every race in \dsgnname\* folder. For other races it works fine.
I thank you very much for your great ST mod and for your help ...

Right now I starting new game with all ST races, great ... !
