i gave up when the idea of doing it in the evening got bounced. as much as i enjoy the game, i doubt i will spend prime blocks of weekend afternoon time on it.

yah good point.

well, with my new job, i work for a person I never see who sends me data with crude instructions of what they want done to it. I then attempt to decode their instructions into mathematically doable statistical analysis and fit their data to models. I send them the models and results back by email. I also consult at a stat lab at the university, so have 24/7 access to the software and equipment. I can do the work anytime, and with VPN client technology, can sometimes do it anywhere too.

so basically I was able to quit my old stupid job waiting tables. I have a completely flexible schedule. But now with the options of being able to spend weekday afternoons doing things other than waiting on *******s, maybe I will want to go outside... I could even have a social life at a time block other than midnight to four A.M.

Warning: I can speak from experience. Telecommute is great, but Internet is fattening.

Alright, (rolling up sleeves) I will find out how to set up a game saturday, and have one ready by sunday. (I hope) Wish me luck. The map will be "world of warhammer" and since the locations are fixed for each race there will a fixed choice on races. I want everything to be fair and balanced. Any help would really rock because my skills with a computer really suck. Bwaha

I click on it every time it pops up, but I was iffy on this last weekend, so I didn't push for it. This coming weekend it looks like I am gone the entire time, so again I won't be available on sunday.

I'd still like to do it, but currently it's more of a "like to do it" than a "ready to do it" sort of thing. If it weren't so dammed hot, driving me away from my comp all the time, I'd be more eager.

Well, Damn it Jim, (sorry, star trek influence) it (the blitz) seems to not have the appeal that I thought it would. Let's try this, saturday I'm available all day and night. PST. Even willing to get up early...
