Mods, mods, mods, mods Arggg Brain overload
I was hoping someone out there could recommend some mods to try out. After surfing a bit it becomes obvious real quick that there are a zillion of them out there! Hopfully someone can suggest a few that are worth trying out. Idealy I would like to try something that changed the game significantly by adding, for example, new technologies and components

Then I would suggest Proportions or Pirates and Nomads.

Derek's is a cool mix too : Proportions' economics, QNP, and DevNull techs.
I currently have one game with it, no bugs/problems, faster development than Proportions, AI manages to expand correctly, very nice experience !
