Re: British OOB
I needed this moved up front (Pg.1) so I can continue my work.
I believe these planes were bigger than the MOSQUITO.
Don posting pictures if you feel like getting ahead on the Icons.
Pics:
1. Pic is the RN version again the distinction being it has the dorsal fin which RAF MK1 didn't have. The LATER RAF types would have it.
2. This shows the counter rotation in the props that helped make this the fastest prop driven fighter ever made.
3. SEA HORNET bottom view.
4. RAF HORNET MK1
5. Side view drawings.
6. Going to bed...never mind, much much too frightening to see!?!
Picture...fortunately deleted.
One more thread to hunt.
Regards,
Pat

Just FYI the hornet is quite a bit SMALLER than the Mossy (approx 3m/10feet shorter and wingspan also approx 3m/10feet narrower)

Re: British OOB
Well I guess I should've asked first! So after spending the time searching for those earlier this morning, guess what I did just now!?! Well doggone-it! I'ma postin a couple of these anyway. But before I do, Don do you already have pictures of the the different marks set up for the units? The night fighter version I didn't think would be an issue here however, as I was poking around it seems that it was considered an all weather fighter/strike-fighter so I'll add that as well below to for CYA.
Don...I just had a feeling... / !!
OK! Almost time for lunch then off to that other four letter word place!
Regards,
Pat
