Virtual Cthulhu!
Since R'lyeh features in Dom2, I thought I'd share this with you all...
http://kolis.dyndns.org/ed/prog/cthulhu/cthulhu.xml
It's a "virtual pet" type of thing, only it's Cthulhu!
I'm writing it for a school assignment... we're supposed to come up with a browser-based virtual pet that uses XML to define its various states
Only seems to work in IE, though... not Firefox

Re: Virtual Cthulhu!
What browser are you using? I only have IE and Firefox installed, and in IE it works while in Firefox it's just a static picture...

Re: Virtual Cthulhu!
Eh, it's pretty simple (and pointless ) ... "offer sacrifice" increases the number of sacrifices; "save souls" reduces it; "deploy troops" increases the number of soldiers; "retrograde advance" reduces it... the more sacrifices and the fewer soldiers, the more manic Cthulhu gets... conversely a large number of soldiers or a small number of sacrifices is bad for Cthulhu... too far in either direction and the game ends (I'll leave the two endings as surprises) ... also, both the "sacrifices" and "troops" counters tick down gradually as Cthulhu consumes sacrifices and kills soldiers.

Re: Virtual Cthulhu!
Glad you liked them!
I hope to update the game with scary looking fonts, of course... I just wanted to get the darn thing running first!
