I had a single stealth commander suffer from and die of starvation when sneaking around in enemy terrain.

I've not had issues with the commanders fleeing, especially and win too.

If I lose the battle fleeing nonmerc units appear in nearby provinces. Its only if I win that they disappear altogether.

Damn I already explained it all, fine I'll try again.

I'm fighting a weaker enemy, I've destroyed many of their units and most or all of them are fleeing.

Suddenly some weaker morale units...

Except nonmerc units are lost, if you win, even if your surrounded by provinces. I only get to keep running units if I lose the battle it seems.

And why do they so often wait to run till after...

I had a very nice prophet get killed in battle. But when I reviewed the battle the prophet never even got hit, kicking butt all the way to the end of the field as the enemy retreated. I was so upset...

Very clever idea loops. Wouldn't help with the headache of moving mages around hunting for areas they havent searched yet (or casting around) But very good.

If the game kept track of the random number and gave you a average of that number.. Like lets say first turn the game says there are 20 troops. Next turn it gives and...

I was told there was only two of them in the whole company. One of which is their only programmer. I'm assuming mindi and annetta and that they are both female (based on name and female avatar)...

Disease should be only permanent in rare occasions. Normally clearing up in a few months maybe. But even outside of disease...
