German Rifle Grenade Inf-AT

In the German OOB, Unit #372 Granatetruppen is listed as an Inf-AT, but the early war rifle grenade weapon has no armour penetration, HEAT or HE. I was wondering what the point of an Inf-AT unit...

Re: v3.5 OOB Error Wrapup

It took me longer than I had intended to made my custom OOBs for v3.5 so that's why they are late.

Alright, well the Il-10 still has two cannon and two 7.62mm MG's so those should be changed...

v3.5 OOB Error Wrapup

I am finishing up my v3.5 custom OOB set and I wanted to post all of the small little errors I found. I have a whole bunch of them so I am just going to put them in one post so I don't end up...

Re: Russian Rear Turret MGs

You could just make it an extra BMG mounted i a hull slot and just ignore the whole issue of where the MG actually points. Right now some tanks have the weapon acknowledged and some don't. The...

Russian Rear Turret MGs

A number of Russian tanks including the BT-5/7, the T-26 and KV series have machine guns in a ball mounting in the rear of the turret. In the existing OOBs some of these units, like the BT's, have...

If so Kudos.

A-20 Fighter bomber

I have noticed that all of the A-20 variants are classified as level bombers when the final model (A-20G) were outfitted as fighter bombers with either 4x 20mm and 2x.50 cal or 6x.50 cal in a solid...

Re: Soviet Anti tank dogs mines (new mod)

Wouldn't that be better modeled as an ATGM? The human handlers would send the mine dogs at the tanks ATGM style. Just like the German beetle micro tanks. In fact, I think I might implement those...

Re: B-25j/h

Can anyone comment on how popular the 75mm cannon armed B-25 models were and how useful the cannon was? They made 1400 of the things so something had to be right, but the 5th AF book talked about...

B-25j/h

I just noticed that in the Dutch OOB units # 91 and 95 are listed as B-25J's, but carry the 75mm cannon of the B-25H, which is what I suspect was meant.

I also wanted to point out the possible...

Re: StuG IIIg BMG

I found another one. There is a IIIf under Norway with a BMG. It is unit #129.

There is also no MG34 AAMG in the Norway weapons list so that might need to be added as well.

Re: StuG IIIg BMG

Weapon names are usually the most consistent search criteria. Of course if you go through the OB's enough you get a feeling for where things are.

Re: StuG IIIg BMG

Finnish StuG M40 Units 135 and 23 still have one.

Italian IIIg Unit 351 still has one.

The Green TD M1943 Unit 86 has one and AG M1944 Unit 90 both have one.

I'll let you know if I find any...

StuG IIIg BMG

Can anyone clarify if a StuG-IIIg was equipped with a BMG or not? Most of the OB entries give it one, but I can't find a single picture of a StuG with a BMG. Online sources are split over if the...

Pak 97/38 vs M1897A4

Re: M10, Wolverine, Achilles Self-Propelled Guns

Would the basic M10 Wolverine be deserving of a bunp in Fire Control from 3 to 4? The Achilles has a 5, but compared with the regular M10 it has the same crew layout and open top for enhanced...

Re: PaK 97/38

I was hoping that the community would have some information as to who used what ammunition and when. The Finish PaK 97's appear to have had their own locally produced solid shot AP, but I would find...

Re: PaK 97/38

Thank you all for the confirmation. Someone might want to review the ammo load outs on Axis Pak 97 AT-gun units. They are heavily weighted to standard AP instead of HEAT.

PaK 97/38

I'm getting mixed messages on the German PaK 97/38 that was made from captured French 75's. About half the sources I can find (including Wikiepdia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7.5_cm_PaK_97/38))...
